The Marcha Cicloturista Internacional Quebrantahuesos (QH) for amateurs with start and finish in Sabiñánigo (Huesca, Spain).
It is undoubtedly the most important cycling tour in Spain and a benchmark in Europe.
For this reason, the whole Aragonese Pyrenees is involved in this great event that in the last few years has not deserved the little luck it has had.
At Hotel Restaurante El Acebo in Jaca, we are committed to all our guests, 100% of whom are cyclists, and who require a balanced diet and special breakfast and dinner schedules especially for this weekend.
The XXX edition was due to be held in 2020 but was never held due to the world pandemic caused by COVID-19 and had to be cancelled a few months earlier.
On the other hand, a year later, the QH 2021 could be held, adopting various security measures. However, it was a bittersweet edition, with cold, water and a very limited peloton compared to the usual.
That’s why, in June of this year 2022, the desire was enormous !!!!
However, at the last moment, the organisation took the controversial decision to suspend it due to a heat wave in which the whole province of Huesca, «La Magia», among other provinces, was immersed.
The Quebrantahuesos 2022 arrives this weekend to be held on the 24th of September with 12,000 cyclists initially registered and we are very lucky to be able to welcome them!
The route starts in Sabiñánigo to ride through the Aragón Valley, Aspe Valley, Ossau Valley and Tena Valley. We will climb the passes of Somport, Marie Blanche, Portalet and Hoz de Jaca.
